The Secretary Home Care Agency provides a personal and practical service to people to help them stay independent and remain in their own home either because a little support is needed with those tasks that are becoming more difficult, or due to restricted mobility through illness or an accident. More and more people are looking to retain their independence and maintain a quality of life yet still stay at home.

The Secretary Home Care Agency offers personal care, assistance with domestic tasks and respite care.  This includes:

• Home from hospital care and rehabilitation
• Escorted shopping/ leisure trips
• Pension / laundry collection
• Bathing service
• Extra care following a period of illness
• Respite breaks for families and carers
• 24 hour live-in care
• Assisted / supported living
• Light housework and blitz cleaning

These services are available 7 days a week- from ½ to 24 hr care for regular needs or for temporary problems such as holiday cover or for clients just out of hospital.

The Home care services operation, with its focus on domiciliary care, has a direct link to other services provided by the organisation.  The staff required to deliver services to clients are recruited and trained through the organisation, ensuring that personnel are competent and capable to supporting vulnerable people in their own homes and those in residential accommodation.
