Background
The Secretary Homecare Agency was established in 1999 to provide specialist care services to adult and old people. The Home Care Agency is a care provider to Social Services and a member of the Public United Kingdom Home Care Association (the UKHCA).
The Home Care’s aims are to provide:
- a high standard of care and support to all users of the service with a promise, irrespective of physical, psychological and cultural needs, to provide the domiciliary care and domestic assistance necessary to maintain a good quality of life.
- individually tailored care plans that preserve independence, dignity, and respect
- support to help clients remain living in their own homes for as long as it is safe and practical to do so, with the reassurance that individual needs will be catered for
- a flexible, well-resourced service which can adapt to meet clients’ changing circumstances.
Additionally, The Secretary Home Care Agency aims to ensure the rights and welfare, personal choice, autonomy, emotional needs and fulfilment of its clients are observed.
